In 2016 Apple introduced the first generation of iPhone SE. It had a 4.0" display, 16GB of internal storage and 2GB of RAM for $399 (about 150,000 Naira) at release. Earlier this week the 2nd generation of iPhone SE was announced. It comes with a much bigger 4.7" display, better camera, same chipset as iPhone 11 Pro and other goodies all for the same $399.

According to apples official website, the 2020 SE comes with proprietary in-ear headphone, charging cable/USB and charging brick. The device is water-resistant.
The iPhone SE is about the same size as the iPhone 8 and has the same form factor. Unlike the 1st generation SE, apple dropped the brick form factor.
Thoughts
If there is anything like premium budget phones, you will find them for around the 90,000 to 140,000 Naira price range. Converting $399 to Naira at 380/$, the new iPhone SE will cost about 150,000 Naira. There are high-end alternative phones from Chinese OEM's like Xiaomi, Infinix and others that cost that much so investing the same amount to get a feel of iOS doesn't seem like a bad idea.
You get a good camera, specs, certified water-resistance, guaranteed OS update, unlike the android alternatives. And maybe not so useful but very important, but you can join the iPhone gang ;) without buying a used or older model device.
The iPhone SE looks like a device that will be a huge success and help bring a lot of new people from the green robot to iOS. Fingers crossed.
