Who is WeAreTogether.ng
According to a paragraph from their official site, The people behind WeAreTogether are tech entrepreneurs who can not sit by and do nothing while the world falls apart. Using technology developed by their companies and the power of network, they are crowdsourcing a fiscal stimulus for Nigeria. WeAreTogether is not an NGO or a charity.
How it works
People that have the resources can donate on the platform (International donations are possible too). While those who need help can apply for 10,000 Naira on the website. WeAreTogether requires BVN and account number and makes payments instantly as soon as request is approved. They collect BVN because it is unique per person and this will help them support people and prevent one person from applying multiple times with multiple Account numbers.
